I Love Youth Work.
Host
Bob Singha has worked with and for young people, parents, teachers and youth workers for over 28 years.
Bob is a Master Youth Coach, coach trainer, mentor and coach supervisor to some of the most influential coaches in Europe. Bob co-designed the world’s first fully accredited youth coaching courses in 2001. Before this he was part of Involve’s senior management team where he designed and managed many innovative projects utilising cultural arts to engage and empower young people. Bob’s raw, authentic, provocative and at times controversial style has enabled him to build rapport with some of our most socially excluded communities. Bob has worked with both the victims and the perpetrators of hate crime, serious youth violence and abuse. He has worked as a youth work and coaching consultant for the Metropolitan Police, the DCSF and Coram. Now as CEO of the Community Coaching Academy, Bob directly supervises, coaches and mentors experienced Youth Coaches who coach in schools, prisons, pupil referral units, universities and youth offenders projects. Bob was born and raised in Newham, East London where he still lives with his family. He is a governor of the local secondary and primary school. In 2011 Bob was recognised by the RSA for his “groundbreaking work with young people and commitment to reach disadvantaged communities”.
