Episode 11 – Dr Brian Belton

Bob Singha and Robin Lockhart meet with Dr. Brian Belton. Brian is a senior lecturer at the YMCA George William’s College, Whitechapel. With over forty years experience in the youth work field, Brian has travelled extensively, working with young people in nations around the globe, including China, Israel, Zambia and the Falkland Islands. Intensely curious about identity and ethnicity, Brian’s expertise on the subject has led him to become an internationally-recognised authority on Gypsy ethnicity. Known for his passion and provocation, Brian is a significant and unique presence within the world of youth work.
